The mission of the Tennessee Department of Transportation within TNSRP is to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of people and goods across our state’s roadways. We are committed to maintaining public infrastructure, assisting motorists, supporting emergency response operations, and promoting roadway safety through professionalism, integrity, and service. TDOT serves as a vital link in the daily operations of TNSRP, working in partnership with law enforcement, fire/rescue, and the public to keep Tennessee moving.
